The Critical Writing students at Northern California's Humboldt State University are responsible for completing an external project of their selection: one of three projects designed to provide unique opportunities to experience and master course content. The Critical Writing Text Review, described below, is one of those three options.
You may enhance your knowledge of critical writing by reviewing any critical writing text of your selection (as long as it's not our own, of course). I have several on my bookshelves from which you may chose, and you may keep that text forever and ever. I'm interested in how the text you select stacks up against the text I selected: in the content, organization, explanations, readings, examples, graphics, layout--everything. Please know that if you select this option, you do me a great service: I get a great view of another text, and I get to learn about what's important to critical writing students. You also do yourself a great service if you select this option: you get a double dose of critical writing content. Great reviews will be showcased on our Text Review Central blog.
